Back on the wagon

Well, it’s time to climb back on the wagon. That’s right. I have got to start eating healthier and exercising again. I had done fairly well starting July 2008 through December 2008. My weight had dropped from 115 kg to 96.5 kg during that period. It is worth noting that I was paying 50 KD per month to see a dietician which gave me a weekly meal plan and tracked my results each week.

I am feeling really tired and sluggish. Perhaps my rise back to 105 kg is contributing to this. I am vowing to begin a light detoxification on Saturday for one week. I will be keeping you all updated on my food intake for each day and my exercise activity for each day as well.

Those of you who drive in Kuwait have probably noticed that the speed cameras in many places have been turned 180 degrees to now flash speeding vehicles from behind!! Do us all a favor and speed responsibly.

NBC Shows Return to iTunes

As many of you may know, NBC decided to not renew its contract with iTunes a few months back. This meant that all of NBC’s shows such as CSI, The Office, etc. would have to be downloaded from another source or people would have to remain shit out of luck. Also removed were shows from Bravo (owned by NBC) such as Top Chef and Top Design. Personally, Top Chef was my favorite.

Well, I am happy to inform you all that NBC has now returned to iTunes along with Bravo and other NBC owned channels. Top Chef Season 4 is downloading as I type. In addition to NBC returning, I noticed that there are HD shows now available on iTunes. I am anxious to see the quality. Will let you know once I find an HD show that I actually care to watch. FYI, the price for a show’s season in HD is approximately $10-$15 higher than the normal downloadable seasons.

One of the most popular and all time favorite magazine in Europe and the United States is Marie Claire magazine which gained great popularity being THE young women’s destination for both style and culture.
